A little while more

I can't seem to be able to get my head into the game - exams. I just Sprawl on the bed & space out. Hmm, life sucks & I need to start focusing ASAP. So I hope that I get all the strength & focus to study. Wsh me luck! :)

It's so hard to keep these promises when you're a thousand mile away.

I missed this year's HAC. It's kind of sad because I go every year! & might not have the chance to next year because my class is filled with very intelligent people. Eg. Wai Meng. But I think I skipped it for a valid reason. (hope my aunt gets better, she vomits every time she eats something.) :(

And I know tomorrow's going to be an absolutely GG day. 1- 5 30pm debate training. Not really training but sort of like an evaluation thing to see how far we grew etc. Well, I shall study history and do my short notes at the same time if that's possible. It's impossible.

On a brighter note, I've finally got my prefect's hi-tea dress. I love love love love love adore love love love it so much. It's red. So dear prefect ladies, think twice before you get a red dress because I got one already. :) Anyway, there's so many more colours in the world - you can get pink (it's close to red). Hahahahaha. So I shall not stress further about my hi tea dress, just accessories. ;)

Logging off right now. But before that,

Just got to say I love this picture. We all just  look so intellectual. Heehee. :)

Fast paced lifestyle.

I'm stressed beyond what the word 'stress' means. I have a never ending pile of homework to do and I can never fit revision in between them. So it's two weeks away from our mid terms and I am officially freaking out.

9 subjects, more than 9 papers. (All Science papers have at least three  THREE papers) D: Everything is in subjective, we even have to write essays for our history test. I don't know what's going to happen in that 2-3 weeks but I have a premonition that it is going to be ugly.

So now I'm going to stop blogging to actually finish my add maths homework, then I'll move on to Biology, BM, Mod Maths, Moral and History homework.

Like seriously, no biggie right.

K bye. You know how I feel.

Break that wall.

The form 4s sold cupcakes today to raise funds for hi tea & the sales were good. Great response from the students & superb cupcakes. The cupcakes were moist and not too sweet. Just to way I like it. ;) So congratulation to the form 4s. We managed to earn more than RM300 for the hi-tea. It seems like a small amount but it's progress. Yay!

Furthermore, another key event that happened today was the selections for kids bp teams. I'm teamed up with Nat (yay, finally we're in the same team). & we're team 2. Don came up with this scary deal where we have to rank based on our team sequence. So if we're team 2, and we rank 3 out of all the SP teams, we have to pay him 50 bucks. Brrrrrr.

Hi Nat. Heehee. So kids BP we shall conquer! As for now, we shall only have sophisticated conversations. :)

Okay dinner. Bye.
& wish us luck for kids BP.

I'm so so sorry...

For not updating my blog for more than 4 months. It totally slipped my mind. Everyday's been so busy that I've never had time to blog. But now I'm taking 5 minutes to blog. (Well, because it's 12am and I really really have to sleep)

2012 has sort of been an ass because I absolutely need more than 24 hours! My daily routines are exhausting. I would go to school at 6am, come back roughly around 3 30pm then I would have tuition later. Spare time goes to homework, debate work, dinner and a little social time (like going to a mall?) What's worse now is that I have to fit revising into my schedule. I'm ready to pass out, literally. I never ever get 8 hours of sleep on a weekday, most I can get is probably around 5-6 hours. :/

I guess form 4 isn't easy. Juggling all the science subjects (Biology, Physics & Chemistry) with other very hated subjects such as BM & History is very very very hard. Especially when you have the tendency to skip school a lot.

So here I am complaining about form 4 and I just can't wait till my college life (idk why I'm so excited either) but from the movies I watch, college seems awesome. I just have to get through SPM first. But let's wait till I'm form five to complain about my life then.

So for now, this is it. But I promise YOU that I shall try to update as often as I can or maybe whenever I can remember.

Sincerely,
the person who wrote this post.

It's so close to Christmas & I bet everyone is excited! :)

I just came back from Singapore yesterday, and it was great. Singapore's MRT system is pretty good. You can literally go anywhere you want to. Like if you're in Orchard, and you're lazy to walk to the other end of the orchard road, hop onto the mrt and stop at Somerset's station.

So, usually when I go for holidays, it's not about the scenery or places, it's what to buy! Shopping. Singapore has a loads of stores so I did get a handful of new clothes which I'm pretty satisfied with. ;) I got this really cute blazer from H&M. Been wanting to get a nice blazer that fits me well & I found it. I was like ASDFGHJKL when the blazer I initially wanted was out of my size, then I found another one. The shop has a lot of blazers.

This shopaholic blood of mine runs in the entire family. My mom has a major bag fetish. She has idk how many bags already & she keeps changing em. My eldest sister shops in bulk. 'If I really like something very much, I'll buy them in few colours.' Wait WHAT?! Why do you need them in different colours. My family is weird.

I got the cutest calender in Singapore. 'Moustaches World 2012 Calender' They show you the different types of moustaches in the world & how difficult it is to grow them. :) I'll take a picture and show it to you next time. But for now, take care!

Remember to do your Christmas shopping!

What Would Puss in Boots do?
Wednesday, November 9, 2011 || 5:04 PM

We all met Puss in Boots in the very first Shrek movie where we fell in love with his absolutely adorable eyes & his sassy swagger.

Now, he's back with his own movie where we can finally learn more about him & his boots. (meow)

So if I was Puss and Kitty Softpaws (which means I would be a cat, duh.) I would first add the razor sharp blade accessory onto my boots, it might come in handy when you're all tied up by a rope and you need to free yourself and beat those mean bad guys!

I would also wear some boxing gloves so I won't hurt my manicured claws. It's hard to be fashionable hero but someone's gotta do it.

I would swing, fly, kick, punch, claw, scratch, bite, sulk, purr, eat, lick, poop on the bad guys as long as I will save the day. :)

As we all know, all cats can't look as handsome or pretty as Puss in Boots or Kitty Softpaws so that picture above would most probably be me. Hahahahahaha. No, I'm not kidding.

Puss in Boots

So, make sure you head to the cinema to watch this movie because I'm absolutely going to! Watch the trailer too.

:D (Maybe I was kidding about being that cat after all)

It's so fast - time.

It's weird to know that today was the last day of school. It wasn't an excellent year but I managed to go through it. 10 months just went pass like split second. The anticipation of PMR was like a snap of finger. Everything just slipped pass me in fast motion. It's funny to know that I'm officially done being 15 & is looking forward to being 16 soon.

I've decided on pure science which means I'll be in 4J with the other people. I have a feeling it's gonna be a hell of a rollercoaster ride next year with so many subjects to juggle. Hmm, there're lots of nice people in my class too. :') Looking forward but I don't want the holiday to fly pass too. (I love holidays!)

Hope you guys enjoy your school holidays too. ;) And I wonder when this year's pmr result will be announced.

Malaysia.

Happy Deepavali guys. Hope you had a great day. :')

I just had to post it. It came into my head.
Friday, October 21, 2011 || 11:02 PM

It's hard to breathe,
with you around.
Can't you see my heart, can you stop fooling around.
Cause it's hurts, hurts so bad.
You might make it all okay, then hurt it again.

Soooo... make a change, let me live.
Don't you want to know that i'm okay.
Before you push me down again.
Why don't you say, say something nice.
For a moment, I thought maybe.
Maybe he could shine.
Shine from the dark, into the light.
And this time I'll stand here looking down, to see you pass by.

Not this time. Why do you think..
That I'm standing here
holding on
Making sure...
that you're okay.
It's hard to breathe,
when you're around.
You make my heart a little tighter,
you make my fingertips tingle.
Don't you want to know.
Don't you want to know.
The story of my heart.

Let the evil in you, be gone.
Wednesday, October 19, 2011 || 6:10 PM

You know, the times I've been mean to you, or really hurt you. Anything, I'm sorry. If you've read Dr.Jekyll & Mr.Hyde, there's always two personalities in a person. One good, the other bad. Thus, we can never separate them fully unless you want to end up like Dr.Jekyll. Thus, we'll always have an evil side.

Nobody, I say, nobody can purely be just good.

Just a thought, tho. xoxo.

The trio. Let's just stick together.

I love you guys. ;)

But friendship is the breathing rose, with sweets in every fold.
-Oliver Wendell Holmes

If you guys read my earlier post, you would notice that I went to Taiping recently with my friends. (Not by ourselves, it was organized by the school.) We embarked on a 2 days 1 night trip to Taiping on Friday. We left roughly around 7 30am. Everyone was a little hyper and excited on the bus ride to Taiping.

Let's meet my seating partner/partners on the bus ride.

This is Darren. He's in my class and I'll tell you, my gossip partner. Can talk to him for several hours on the phone. (Bye credit!)
Funny guy. :')

Meet Yong. (We call him that but his full name is Yong Ming Xuan.) :)
Yong is (coughs) slightly short, but I think he'll shoot up next year.
Gut feeling, and some magic spell. Hahahaha.
Apparently he loves cucumber and likes everything I don't like. :(

Dayan is another classmate of mine. He's the intellectual whiz who sometimes curse (when he curses, it's really really funny.) I don't think I ever seen him mad before. Nope, nada.

Here's Poon and Darren. You've met Darren. ;)
Poon is well, the joker of the gang. (He still owes me a joke.)
He's a masochist. I don't understand how one person could enjoy getting bullied so much. Pinches, flicks, slaps. How much can one person take? -> Unless he's an alien.
Just kidding.
Have with them all the time.

We reached our first destination - Taiping Zoo quicker than expected. (I remembered Nat & Chew needed to go to the toilet pretty badly.) We rushed to the toilet and well, all comfortable again. Thank god, we ran to the toilet first 'cause after that the toilet was pretty crowded and we would have to wait.

Oh, I don't know why but Taiping was fking hot. After studying Geography, I thought the air in Taiping would be moist and Taiping would be slightly cloudy because y'know, Bukit Larut ialah kawasan yang paling lembab di Malaysia right. So Nat & I decided to buy the chinese fan (mine broke later that day. I think I overused it a little. Teehee)

Back to the story, we decided to take the tour shuttle thingy that brings you around Taiping Zoo first. We got separated. Thus, Nat, Poon & Yong were on the first shuttle while Darren, Chew & I had to take the second shuttle.

Taiping zoo wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. Although I thought the animals would be a little lonely (sometimes there's only 1-3 of the same species), I was glad that they weren't caged. It was like walking in a park, there were many monkeys around here as well (roaming freely!).

The signboard. You can see it's a little tattered and old. But sometimes ancient things are pretty. The stains and the grim. Hmm.
As you can see, Darren, Chew and I are on the same shuttle.
(You can actually see how sweaty I already am here.)
Oh, you haven't met Chew yet!
Chew is well, a brother from another mother.
We hate the same food and like the same food. In short, great taste.
(He's a little camera shy. :3)

We met lions. ;)

And rhinoceros!

Close up. They're actually trying to hide from the sun. Now you know how hot the weather was.

Some really pretty birds.

A camel!

Then we met this lazy Orang Utan which heard Darren call it lazy.
It turned its head and glared at Darren all the way till we disappeared from its sight.
Creepy much?

After that, we decided to visit the Mangrove forest. I've only seen this in my geography book. But seeing it in real life, it's mesmerizing. I think the roots are really amazing.
I told you so.

Mangrove tree's roots.

We managed to sneak in a little camwhore session. :P

Darren's t-shirt.

After visiting the Mangrove forest, we went to the Charcoal Factory and learn how they make mangrove wood to charcoal. It was an eye-opening experience.

Mr.Chuah explained where the charcoal are exported to etc.

We then find out that they still use manual labour in putting charcoal into their respective bags.
I was surprised cause I was imagining some factory machine doing that.

The outside of the charcoal factory.
The view is amazing.
The smell, not so much.

We then proceeded into the factory.
Apparently they use rubber tree wood and some mangrove wood to light up a fire in this dome where they make mangrove wood into charcoal.

This is the dome. They would break down the entrance then build them up again to ensure that the charcoal burns perfectly. Manual labour again. (Surprised again.)

Beautiful view, isn't it.

Mangrove wood.

Mr.Chuah explaining how the heat is captured in the dome and how this dome was built.

After that, we went to check into our hotel - Potato Hotel. At first, we thought our teacher was kdding but kid me not, it was really Potato Hotel. We had to refresh ourselves before we left for dinner/ fireflies viewing.

The gang. :)

Here's a picture of Nat. (Finally!)
Well, Nat is sort of my other half. We go mostly everywhere together. ;)

Wai Meng, teacher's pet!
A guy who sings with heart and soul and he obviously can't live without music.
Sometimes you just wished you can shut him up but sometimes you don't really mind listening. :)

We from 3C 'yo!

Cheng Mun, another person who wowed us last year at our ELS' singing competition.
We never knew she had that voice in her until she sang. ;)
A very nice person indeed.

Oh we went to eat Wantan mee for breakfast that day.

We were at Kuala Sepetang that day, to go to the Fishing Village.
Met two flies (obviously not very discreet) copulating in broad daylight.
Tsk.

The fishing village. It smelled pretty fishy at first but you'll get used to it after that. They asked us to try some cockles there (I hate cockles, so does Chew. :P) and I sort of ran away with disgust. But the view at the fishing village is sensational. Absolutely different from the city view.

Fishing village.

After the Fishing village, we stopped by a museum where we learned a little about what happened in Taiping. Not much there but plently of wax figures. Enough to scare us out of the museum. We ended up waiting for the bus driver to come back.

The museum.

After the museum, we actually went to the Hot Springs but the hot springs were such a blur that I forgot to take photos. Firstly, I needed to go toilet badly and the malay lady wouldn't let us in. Secondly, it was raining and the toilet was 1km away I think. We had to run there (in the rain, without an umbrella.) After that we went to the Hot Springs, got completely wet and had to go find the bus driver. Thought the bus driver wasn't there and went back to find him in the Hot Springs just to find out that the bus driver was indeed in the bus. We went back to the bus to get dry clothes & towels and cleaned ourselves up. We were running really late too. :') Nat & I took less time than the guys. It was slightly chaotic but it was fun.

That marks the end of Taiping trip 2011. :)

Love,
Jeanette.

You know PMR is over...
